When approaching Gannett Peak... | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
When approaching Gannett Peak from the south, this is the first full view of the peak. It is from Bonney (Dinwoody) Pass. We were camped in Titcomb Basin above the higher lake, so we had to cross this pass twice as well as climb the peak on the same day. It is a long and strenuous day to say the least.

Hasn't voted | Long and strenuous! We camped near where you camped (just below Helen Peak). Fun, fun climb, though! | | Posted Jul 10, 2004 10:03 pm |

Hasn't voted | Yeah, long and strenuous indeed. I was glad to get that one in the bag when I was still "young" (45). Sounds like you had a great trip! | | Posted Jul 11, 2004 11:50 am |
