| Unplanned, extremely long day on the mountain with two novice climbers. We left Elena Gallegos at 7:15 am, started the ridge climb at 11:00 am, reached the high point of the ridge at 7:50 pm, found La Luz at 11:05 pm, and arrived at the La Luz Trailhead at 1:15 am. | |

| Went solo from Elena Gallegos. Made it to the tram tower in 3 hours and spent an hour on the ridge messing around. I turned back when I realized it would take far too long. The return trip took just as long thanks to route-finding and bushwhacking difficulties. | |
