White Domes | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The White Domes have red, orange, and yellow swirls of rock which reminded me a lot of The Wave

Hasn't voted | Thanks Scott! I’m glad that you like them. When I climbed the mountain it was a nice sunny day so my photos came out looking somewhat decent this time. | | Posted Dec 12, 2007 7:50 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks. That’s a nice photo. It looks like where my family lives. They have water buffalo walking around nearby. There are a lot of elephants and monkeys too. I don’t really like leeches though. I can do without them. | | Posted Jan 4, 2008 9:26 pm |
 | | lcarreau | Yes ... | |
Voted 10/10 | I can do without them , too! Actually, I did go swimming in the river. It was a warm and humid day, and guess the leeches were sleeping. Lucky for me, I guess. Thank you!!!
Heard there was a storm hitting northern Utah this weekend! Be safe, Melinda! | | Posted Jan 4, 2008 9:36 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you, Hiltrud! Sometimes I think southern Utah looks like the planet Mars because of all of the interesting colours and strange rock formations. | | Posted Jan 27, 2008 9:31 pm |
| ironcondor | Superb photo! | |
Hasn't voted | It always amazes me how sedimentary rock mixed with one or more physical elements/processes can create such beauty. Aloha! | | Posted Sep 22, 2009 7:47 pm |

Hasn't voted | Aloha! The entire Canaan Mountain area has beautiful colors. Most of the area is orange and red. The White Domes stood out because it had several layers of swirling rock. | | Posted Sep 23, 2009 12:03 pm |
