north ridge  Sucess!

this peak is very prominent and the highest peak in the range so worth driving a little out of the way for this one. Took the road to 9800ft- pretty good shape but narrow if you run into traffic. The north ridge is a pretty good scramble by Idaho standards- a fair amount of loose rock but overall entertaining. A little fresh snow from last weekend. the whole area is burned unfortunately. The lookout on South Twin is worth visiting while you are in the area

North Ridge  Sucess!

Climbed with calebEOC and idahomtnhigh. This was our first of three peaks in our tour of eastern Idaho trip. Excellent views from the summit.

North Ridge  Sucess!

Our party of three arrived into central Idaho fairly late in the morning with thunderstorms threatening so we opted for this peak and its short ridge traverse from Twin Peaks lookout road. We made it out just before the storms overtook the mountain.

Great Peak  Sucess!

White Mountain was a really challenging climb from the North, especially when the upper part is still covered with snow. The rock is very unstable and unpredictable but the view from the top is worth it all.
