| Did White one evening while hiking the PCT with my brother when we were teens. Hiked to the end of Foam Basin and ridge walked the east ridge of White, then came down the south ridge. | If you've huffed it all the way up to White Pass for Glacier Peak, you might as well tag this one too. It's only a little more gain and the views from the top make it worth it. | |

| Our four-person mountaineering team summited Glacier Peak the previous day. We encountered a friend of ours near White Pass that evening, and decided to summit nearby White Mountain and Portal Peak the following day. We thought White Mountain offers the best overall views of the standard southern summit routes leading to Glacier Peak. Highly recommended! | |
