Tour de GrizzlyWith Rachael. Went up the Grizzly Gulch trail but left early to go straight up the grass slopes to Whitecross, then traversed around over Handies and PT 13795 before descending back to the trial via a beautiful high tarn.

via grizzly gulchlast peak of a three 13er weekend! the ascent of whitecross was simple enough, weaving in and out of snow patches, but i couldn't continue on to snow draped handies as my sunburn was yesterday's climb of half peak was excruciatingly painful.

via Grizzly GulchThis was my 2nd time on Handies and back via White Cross. It drizzled and hailed pretty much the whole way. My son turn around and went back to car, and me and Duchess continued.... Wished to have better views, many surrounding peaks covered by clouds.

Via Grizzley GulchLeft the TH at 1:30pm. Summited both Whitecross and Handies and was back to the car in 6 hours. Cool mountain. Great views and the geology was interesting!
