Wild Cherry Blossom

Wild Cherry ( Cerasus avium – Polish: Dzika czeresnia) grows in Polish Mountains up to the elevation of 900 meters in forests and meadows. Wild Cherry is a common tree in the Low Beskid. It blooms from April to May. All flowers are white. They are pollinated by bees. Fruits ripen up by July and are usually red. Fruits of wild cherry are favored by many different birds.
