Approach

This route is on the north ridge of the formation "The Three Graces."

Route Description

Follow the north ridge and do a traverse to the "window" - a large crevice. Step across to the summit.

This is a great 5.2, and will test your route finding abilities. Rap down to the east off fixed anchors on the summit.

Essential Gear

Lots of slings for flakes and pothole threads. Bring some medium pro (I've heard Tricams work well). It's really tough to protect this route.

"Hours slide by like minutes. The accumulated clutter of day-to-day existence – the lapses of conscience, the unpaid bills, the bungled opportunities, the dust under the couch, the inescapable prison of your genes – all of it is temporarily forgotten, crowded from your thoughts by an overpowering clarity of purpose by the seriousness of the task at hand."   --Jon Krakauer
