Windy is a nice mountain. Hard work in deep snow though. Someday I have to try the west ridge route. Good page. Jon

Hi Kane: Me and a buddy hiked Windy Peak West approach on Sat. Your post was helpful, especially in setting expectations. BTW--it was a harder hike than I expected, all that stepping around deadfall and travesing boulder fields.

	Hasn't voted	Thanks Mike. Every so often I get "thanks" from other hikers and climbers in regards to my pages. It feels nice. I have not been up Windy in a few years. I miss that one. I think I need to head up there this winter.
