Re: I missed this one...Thanks...from what I've heard they've already had their share of snow in the High Country. Wonder if its gonna be another winter like last year!

Re: I missed this one...Yeah, it's shaping up to be about like last year. Started a tad later, but it's revving up pretty good. Banner Elk is already sitting with about a foot of snow with more forecast almost every day this week.
My nephew who's a geologist for DIA told me that this might be the case with lots of particulate matter in the upper atmosphere from that volcanic blast some weeks back. Should be enough stuff up there to reflect sunlight and cool things off a bit.
