This photo was taken in December 09 in the Sandia Mountains, New Mexico. There was a little frozen waterfall in my backyard, so I had to go and try it out...So much fun!

This is a great shot, but I'm trying to figure out what you are doing with your right tool. It looks like you're hooking your left shoulder with it. Or, may be you're scratching your back with it. In either case You look very happy to be out playing.

	Hasn't voted	Thanks, it was my first time ice climbing on that photo, and the ice tools were not even mine. I guess for a short one pitch climb no leashes, but a long route.... I would use leashes.
