Used to visit frequently and there when I was living in New Mexico. Nice scenery, great also for hiking, and you can hike all the way to Rio Grande. Nice variety of routes.
I have climbed almost every wall in this area. It is one of my favorite places to climb in New Mexico due to its hidden location and great variety of walls.
Glad to finally locate a place to climb near Santa Fe, we love to visit, but have lost interest in downhill resorts and there is not much backcountry skiing. Would much rather climb when this far south anyway. Try not to disturb any falcons nesting on the right side of Winter Wall. Cheers.
