Just a little hill!  Sucess!

State HP #30 for me. Woodall was just a drive through the forest. Not too exciting, the first of 4 high points on my Bday weekend!

Enjoyed the drive, a little bit of rain but had the summit to myself!

#24  Sucess!

Drove up because it was about to get dark. Did a backflip off the summit boulder (highest backflip ever done in MS??). Eat at the Homestead Restaurant in Iuka after or before visiting this one, it's a great place to grab some country food with very friendly people.

Just Drove Up  Sucess!

HP #21. Didn't like driving up and down that steep summit drive. Part of Thanksgiving Long Weekend high pointing trip on 7 Southern States: AL, TN, GA, SC, NC, FL, MS.

1st of 2  Sucess!

This was the 1st mountain of our 30 hour trip thru Mississippi and Alabama. The mountain is non-descript. My two boys (12 and 7) did enjoy running around on top of the mountain. Not much to do here so we didn't linger. Highpoint #12 for me. Highpoint #7 for Q. Highpoint #7 for Carson.

Sixteenth HP  Sucess!

Last on a trip of 16 HP's. We did the drive, snapped some pictures, and headed back to Texas. I did enjoy the history on the plaque at the top.

Southern Road Trip!  Sucess!

HP #30 for me. HP #14 for Lillian. Visited after being at Driskill Mountain the day before. Long drive between the two - took almost seven hours! Getting value out of the rental car. This is a nicely maintained drive up that even has a small view from the summit to the north.

Sherpa left at home!!  Sucess!

This is #5 in my quest to hike all 50 states, it was part of multi state trip. The choice of states was totally random and I saw some horrible devastation created by the tornado's that hit a week earlier, I can't begin to describe that part. The summit was exciting no matter how small the elevation. The sign on top was very nice!!
