| Started from Herman Gulch, wrapped around Parnassus and up the SW slopes of Bard. Followed the ridge on over Parnassus, over to Woods, over to Machebeuf, then bushwhacked back down to the Watrous Gulch/Bard Trail Intersection. Nice loop, easy terrain. | |

| Second hike at altidude since having my baby and it was a butt-kicker because of all of the snow! We should have had snowshoes! Tons of post-holing after the trail ended. We bailed around 12,300. Next time I go for this one, I am going to add Parnassus. | |

| Machebeuf, Woods and Parnassus on this day. Climbed with Aaron and Ellen, Randy and Sharon, my "usual suspect" companions. We would have tried for Bard also, but we were too tired to go for it. | |

| Rkymtn and I headed up Woods from UN 12,805 en route to Parnassus. An excellent outing overall. We made quick work of the loop and avoided the afternoon storms. | |

| We first climbed Watrous Gulch to Woods via the SE ridge from the Parnassas saddle. We then traversed SW over to 12805. We then followed the ridge west to the Pettingell saddle where we met the Contential Divide trail. We followed this trail down into Herman Gulch for the return to the trailhead. | |

| Climbed solo with Mt Parnassus and Bard Peak the Sunday after Thanksgiving to burn off those turkey calories. Day got progressively better after some snow squalls earlier. Windy on the summit though! The clouds started to break enough to get some good views from the summit. | |
