This is actually wreckage from a much smaller plane that crashed in 1947. The engines used on DC3s were typically 14-cylinder models and produced about 9x as much horsepower. I didn't realize the error till the fellow who crashed in 1947 contacted me. Some of the wreckage from the Lomard crash is still there, but most was salvaged.
