Looking down from start of pitch 2 of Wyrick-Merrill route. I thought this section definitely felt C2-ish (hence the lace job with screamers). Shirley's trying to hide under the overhang from the falling mud (Sept. 2007)

Looks scary, definately not my kind of climbing. Glad you guys liked it.

I like it once we're sipping beer back at the car and looking at the tower from a safe distance :)
I guess it's the peak bagger in me that loves going after these desert towers (I DO love it though - great adventure).
