Yosemite Falls Before and During Flood

This is a comparison of Yosemite Falls the day before and during the day of a 10 year flood in the valley. I took the photo on the left on May 15, 2005, and the right one is from the NPS taken May 16, 2005. The falls were impressive enough on Sunday, but on Monday things were completely different.

Thank you. Was lucky to have same angle of the falls only 1 day apart (my other comparisons are looking at 1 year before on a previous trip).

Haha. Thanks Larry. No I'm not hydrologist, though sometimes I think I wish I had gone into a field like that. I always find these types of things interesting. I was simply very lucky to have been in the valley at the right time.
