That's cool

I thought I was looking at porcupine quills. Definitely want to stay away from those.

You certainly want to avoid them. Many of our local mountains are covered with those plants and I often got way too close. They are not only sharp but also very rigid. They pierce through clothing and more easily. Cheers.
