| This mountain won the 2011 "Most Difficult Ascent" of the year award from me. Obviously I've done more physically difficult peaks in 2011, but the fact is that this mountain had a lot of surprises and challenges that not very many other mountains do. One one note I kept going back because it was exciting each time, but on the other hand there was a bit of suffering and cuts involved with this peak. Even on the lightest day of the year we started around sunrise and ended after sunset. Anyone looking for a small mountain but want it challenging, this is the place to go. |
