I climbed it a month ago and was looking for a picture that best showed its steeple-like shape from this side. I went back last weekend to try and duplicate your shot with a telephoto lens. I camped at Höhbalmen above Zermatt, got up before sunrise, and climbed the lower third of the Unterer Gabelhorn`s east ridge. The views of the Matterhorn were great but I was way too low for the Zinalrothorn. I presume yours was an aerial shot? | | Posted Aug 28, 2008 2:50 am |

Hasn't voted | if memory serves me right, the photo was taken from somewhere around the Teodulo / Theodul hut (not an aerial).
