Re: Obergabelhornyes some places force good nerv because of the very steep flank to the north side and to cross the gendarm is also a hard work.
But it's a beautiful mountain and we can be proud to have it on our summit list. Tschüss

Re: Great!Danke Herr Musiker. Damals haben wir Zinalrothorn am Vortag bestiegen und hier sind wir unterwegs zum Obergabelhorn. Dazu muss der Gipfel von Wellenkuppe überquert werden, wenn man von der Rothornhütte startet. Hier im Bild haben wir das schmale Grat erreicht, welches zuerst zu enem riesigen Gendarm führt. Dieser wird überklettert, weil durch die steile Flanke kein Umgang möglich ist. Grossartige Tour!
