I have climbed several peaks in the Beartooth range, including Granite Peak, Castle Mountain, Mount Rearguard, and Lonesome Mountain. I hope to return to this wonderul place and climb/ski many more of the peaks and plateaus!
Home to the tallest peaks in MT - I've heard this area referenced as the American Alps (same of the North Cascades, but cest la vie). A spectacular drive up over the pass in the NE corner of Yellowstone, phenomenal backcountry skiing options in the winter. The Beartooths are slick

Beartooth RangeStarted in 91,a trip over Beartooth pass on motorcycle. Went back to climb Granite peak!
