Re: Any routes...Unfortunatelly it is forbidden to climb here (officially). :-\ Here in Hungary we have some rocks but most of them are forbidden to climb. Bad luck.

Re: Any routes...Yes, it's a good idea. :-) We have some climbing area but these are ridiculously small. So if we have time and money we go to abroad to climb to the surrounding countries. In 250km I can find longer climbing routes.

It's simply beatifulThree years ago Me and my Family drove aroud Balaton Lake And we stopped shortly near Badacsony. I din't suppose then There is such strikingly view of bazalt wall in the close

Some days ago......I saw here on SP Liba Hardekopf's photos of the Devil's Tower in USA, and I must say this reminds me of it. If they had mined just a bit more of the basalt away, you would have a Devil's Tower in Hungary too! ;-)

Re: Some days ago...Perhaps the whole mining activity is just a cover story, and the aim was what you pictured, only that the stamina or the funding was not enough... :)
