Beautiful
A beautiful area, good snow climbing. I have wanted this peak for a couple years, this was a great introduction to the Suiattle River area! NOTE: Suiattle River Rd. FR 15 will be CLOSED from July 8 to August 6 2012.

Snow Climb
We hit snow around 4200 feet. Saw a bear twice. Same bear, same spot.

Crack of Thunder Limited My Summit Time
Boulder Lake was appropriately named but beautiful. Hurricane Peak was actually a lot of effort due to trying to traverse through lose boulders. That slowed me down tremendously. We took a very obscure way up (unadvised) but went down the correct way through the gully. Thunder on the summit from the south limited summit time to 15 minutes.
