Long Day
Via Antione Creek Trail from the west (15.3 m RT, 3300 gain) which from about mile 2.5 - 4.5 has sections not in good shape (blowdown, overgrown trails, etc.). Some really beautiful sections of old growth. Probably best to do this in October when the weeds are dead, the horrible mosquitos are dead and the larch are yellow.

Lake Trail
Hiked up from Lake Bonaparte. About 16 miles round-trip. Gorgeous 360 degree views on a clear day. Well worth it.

Bonaparte and Moses
Left Seattle at 4:30am. Drove to Bonaparte and snowshoed up. Then drove to Moses and hiked up. Then drove back to Seattle, arriving at 12:45am.
Tried to bike up it, gave up cause I'm lazy/weak/whiny/tired, and hiked it as a cool down to a three day adventure I was on...pretty neato.

A Nice Hike, A Nice Lookout
I really enjoyed this hike. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the clouds had not ruined many of the views. Two Forest Service workers were at the summit examining the health of the trees there, but the lookout itself was locked-up. This was my 17th (out of 18) Washington peak with at least 25 miles of isolation from the nearest higher ground.

North trail
A sweet hike to a functioning lookout. We (Eric and I) met the lookout and he gave us a tour of his new home, having just moved in the day before. This lookout fellow had been the lookout on Oregon Butte the previous year. Not much of a view today since the weather was cloudy and cold but the fact that this peak is one of the bigger ones in this section of E. Washington made it a nice target.

Trail from North
I did this one for the second time today with Dean. Thankfully it was much cooler today than the last time I was here. Most of this trail is through very pleasant forest and the trail is in excellent shape. I think this is my favorite hike (so far) out of the admittedly somewhat limited peaks I've done in what I think of as Eastern WA (east of the Okanogan->Columbia Rivers).
