I have beat the hell out of these poles and expected them to break once or twice but they held up well.
They are very light and super compact when unextended (very packable)
I didn't realize fully why the cork handle was so good until using these poles in the rain, the cork grips very well when wet and is lightweight.
I do find that the locking mechanism gives me some trouble sometimes. It really takes a good twist to get them to unlock.
Now, I have to say, although the poles have served me well, they are broken after two years of use, it seems as though the locking mechanism failed and in trying to repair it, I made it worse.
