Located at 1375 meters in elevation, Pešino vrilo is one of many other springs in the area. During the old times, locals used to spend months on Kamešnica as shepherds, as they had to accompany the herds to the pastures. It is Pešino vrilo among other numerous springs on Kamešnica that allowed to water gently. Even today, a source is flowing and it is used by hikers and campers.
In 2007, at the Pešino vrilo locality, a small mountain hut (shelter) was built. A month after the construction of the hut, the riverbed was built near the source. The building was financed and built by members of the Mountain Club Kamešnica.
Today the hut is open to hikers and to people of goodwill all year round.
