beautiful indeed but......the road up Petersen Creek as of July 2014 (ten years after this pic) is really not recommended if you like your paint job. The road is open and an adventure in and of itself but it is rough and has spots where you could do damage to your vehicle's exterior if not careful. There is one aspen grove however that has a terrific camp area.
