Re: Not as scaredGlad you didn't buy the farm. I took a fall on a peak in Utah in early September that made me realize my mortality. It was also class 4.

Re: Not as scaredThat kind of thing will wake you up. This near-fall was on the steep upper portion of the slickrock ramp. About 200 feet of exposure, I lost my footing and started to slide - I quickly grabbed a nearby bit of vegetation (a small bush) and stopped myself. I then backtracked to Mike, who'd found the chute in the photo above, and sighed with relief.
