Kane and Nelson

Kane (left) and Nelson (right) descend from Point 11,040+, a minor summit on the southern rim of McCurdy Park. The peak is small, but the views from it are grand.

K=potasium. The pink stuff as opposed to Sodium Feldspar more prevalent in the granitic batholiths to the north.

Don't worry, Jon. I didn't know sodium is more prevalent further north. Livio teaches me a little petrology from time to time, but I'm not a very serious student as one can see.
