Many part of ice on the top and ridge collapsed by recent earthquake. But beautiful mountain is still there.

impressive

really? the earthquake was so strong? we've received notice only about the great cities of this area or about dams and industries but nothing about the little villages or the wilderness.

Four Girls mountains is sited 60km west from the epicenter. Then a part of the ice-cap and snow fell in, and it made big avalanche at the highest peak.

Around Four Girls Mountains, there are many Tibetan villages. Many of their stone piled houses suffer a serious loss. Because these damages less than the damage at the epicenter, it was not reported. Thanks for your interest.
