"The quiet hunt" of Russia

Tribute to mushroom hunting, undoubtedly the Russian national passtime. A few very different edibles are displayed here, along with the traditional willow-branch basket. Redcapped aspen boletus Leccinum aurantiacum; golden coral Ramaria flava; chantrelle; and Russula foetens, the less desirable bitter Russula which, in Russia, has a very different common name and a very different cooking than the rest of Russulas.
