West Crack (5.7) and...

West Crack (5.7) and Hermaphrodite Flake (5.4) on Stately Pleasure Dome. Both routes start at the lower left corner of the image where a right-facing dihedral peters out at a ledge (ledge hard to see in photo). Hermaphrodite Flake is the large detached flake just right of center. West Crack exits the dihedral beneath the bottom tip of the flake via a barely visible left-slanting crack. It continues on up the right-facing dihedral to its end, then continues up the water streaks to where the belayer is seen hanging. The fourth pitch follows another dihedral up and right. Another climber is just visible near the end of the fourth pitch. Hermaphrodite Flake follows the lower edge of the flake up and around the right side to the top. The route formally ends there (rap back to start), though there are at least two options in the 5.7-5.8 range that allow one to continue from there.
