These look like skyscrapers

Pretty impressive from where I am. Vajolet sounds like a French name -seems odd since the Dolomites are pretty far east from France or Swizterland.

Re: These look like skyscrapers

In fact Vajolet Towers belong to Catinaccio Group of Val di Fassa ( Fassa Tal or Fassa Valley).

Val di Fassa is a Dolomiti's area where they still have a Language called Ladino or Retoromano ( it's a pure Language not a slang) heritage of ancient domination of Romans.

From that period the old latin has been modified with other different languages and this is the result.

The Ladino is novadays is spoken in: Val di Fassa, Val Badia, Val Gardena, Friuli Region and in Switzerland Canton Grigioni.

Many geographical names have this origin.

for example:

Comprensorio Ladino di Fassa = italian

Comprensorje Ladin de Fascia = ladino
