Robbin! I'm so glad to see you have created a profile here. I know you've been watching this site for some time now so it's great to know you joined up.
Thanks Larry. Years down the road, what stands out most distinctly in my mind are special encounters with "the natives". Even on my most recent trip to Egypt and Greece, a few personal conversations I had ended up being the most valued experience. Tell me about your SE Asia trip. Will you be writing a trip report?
This is a very engaging combo of climbing and culture. Sounds like a fantastic trip. Someday I shall have to follow in your footsteps to Kilimanjaro and Africa.
Thanks Eric. This was the only trip I've been on where the peak objective was dwarfed by my experience with the people. The African people are amazing. I wish I could have spent more time with them.

This TR kicks butt !Unfortunately, my posterior didn't go anywhere while reading it.
It reminded me of my visit to SE Asia earlier this year. Great job !!
There's nothing like "mingling" with the natives!

The only guarantees in Life are death and taxes. I will think
about it after the holidays are over, however..
