A large (for Colorado)...

A large (for Colorado) crevasse on the west side of Ptarmigan Snowfield. June, 2001.
I'm not sure if this is a true crevasse in the glacial sense, but it would still be a bummer to fall into.

Great shot!

Is that Notch Top in the background?

While not large by Cascades glacier standards, that certainly seems big to me for CO! Also definitely looks like a true glacier to me (compacted ice on both sides)! Cool shot & thanks for sharing.
