...in the area south west of Jonsdorf known as the "Jonsdorfer Felsenstadt" in the Zittau Mountains. There are also other unusually shaped rocks to be seen in that area, such as the "lion", the "rhinoceros", the "Saint-Bernard" etc...

Re: Amazing!

Oh yes indeed! And there is also a rock that looks exactly like a dachshund - ears, nose, eyes, muzzle - it's amazing! I'll post that later on!
Thanks for your comment, Vid - how was your summer all in all? I see you've been to Switzerland, among other things...
Cheers,
Eric

Re: Amazing!

Hi Eric!

Summer was fine, but nothing so very special. During my vacation we did a few trips on home mountains, but somehow we chose the first opportunity, when weather was really very hot (up to 38 degrees), so when coming back home we didn't continue immediately. Then we planned to go to Zillertaler Alps, but couldn't find 4 nice days in a row. Then it was already too early to go to Switzerland (where we had a 2-days term reserved in Grindelwald), so, we did again short hikes at home. The Swiss round was super in the beginning. After 5 days of constantly hiking, visiting towns and sleeping in car, we hardly waited for some rain which was forecasted. In Grindelwald then it indeed rained both days. What a pleasure! But on the second day we made a mistake, visiting a hot, airless jacuzzi. After 45 minutes we exited like two cooked frogs. I sat on the edge, while Jasmina was showering. When she turned, I lost consciousness, falling down and immediately the whole pool was bloody. So, instead of having "blütenpool" as announced, we had "blutenpool", ha, ha. But I recovered soon, got quite some stitches on the face and next day, when we were driving home it was again a perfect weather. Still, we visited no mountain... My nose still today hurts a bit, because it had to be broken, but it's all ok now :)

Cheers!
Vid
