The Cabinets...

...are a wonderful area, one I've not yet been fortunate enough in which to climb. I'm glad to see this page for "A" Peak, but...there MUST be more to say about the area than the introductory three sentences which comprise the first paragraph. For example, why the letter designation, and not a name, or number; how large is the wilderness? How many glaciers? Are there--officially or otherwise--grizzlies? The Cabinets get huge amounts of snow--winter ascents? There are all sorts of things to say about mountains, and SP has a lot of terrific pages; check them out for ideas. "A" Peak--actually, the Cabinets in general--are almost unknown to the greater Rocky Mountain mountaineering community; give us the information!

Contrary to what it must seem, I'm glad to see this page, it just needs more work; go for it!

A start

I must agree with the previous. The Cabinets are a fantastic place and there is much to tell about them. Your presentation and photos are good, but there needs to be much much more info provided. Look at other good SP pages for a template and see what they include. Then ask yourself what similar info for the Cabinets would look like. Then write it. Good luck. Please let us know when things get updated so we can vote.

Nice Job

Nice work on this page. This peak has been on my list since grabbing Snowshoe a few years ago. The east face looks like a fun route!
