I'm one of those who prefers ...a smoky Rainier to no Rainier at all.

Peak in 1985, and will add it to my list.
In 1985, this place was still "paradise" but
the landscape was also smoky for sure !

Re: I'm one of those who prefers ...Totally agree. It is special just to see Rainier considering Rainier is cloud-covered anywhere from 250 to 300 days a year. I think I have been lucky and spoiled to see it so many times when it is not.
