DramaticAre those the Monti Sibillini in the Marche region ? I once did a geological work in the Monte San Vicino area and on clear days I always admired those Monti Sibillini but I never had the time to explore or climb them.

Re: DramaticYes they are in the Marche region and a bit of Umbria, the highest summit is Monte Vettore, very nice region for excursions and ski-touring (little info on SP regarding this region yet).

MomentiI love it when the mountain, which has enveloped you for so long, suddenly gives that special moment that releases you into the open heights. I had many in the Apennines too.
