A windy day 1/2 way up the West Ridge on Mt Cook. Descended off this route due to high winds.
The West Ridge leads up onto the Summit Ridge of Mt Cook and the Grand Traverse going over Low, Middle and High peak before descending into the Grand Plateau - normally via the Linda Glacier.
