Acty Mountain

7019 foot Acty Mountain on the other side of Hawks Valley. An airstrip use to be carved into the sagebrush alongside the road that crosses Hawks Valley in this picture. The US Dept of the Interior worked on a program to irrigate and seed the valley in the 70's that was eventually abandoned, likely due to a lack of water.
