The joy of highpointing a farmers field? This illustrates the lameness of some of the county highpoints of Washington as the highest point of land in Adams county is in the middle of this farmers field. Still, you get Mt. Rainier on the one extreme, and this on the other. I don't believe RMI will guide you on this one so just buck it up and go do it along with the likes of Rainier. Every county highpoint counts, including one like this. I am the poser in this shot taken with my camera by Bob Bolton . Mar. 2003

Hmmmm

I think you need to move a few more feet to the right.

Re: Hmmmm

Yes, or to the left. :-) Actually, we covered most of that stupid field and found two spots that were both candidates. To this day, this is probably the most lame county highpoint I have ever done. The second most lame is Franklin county but at least there, you get to hike uphill for a bit. Still, it is kinda fun when you do it for a purpose (whatever that purpose is?) Thanks for voting on it.

with the relative relief of the Butler Co. Ohio HP

Re: Very competitive

That makes sense. It could also compete with many county highpoints in Kansas. :-)
