"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

More information, pleaseOverview - why do I want to go there?
Getting There - how do I get there? Fly? Drive? Train? Walk?
Camping / Lodging - Where do I stay?
Weather / Seasons - When is it best to go? What conditions should I expect in summer vs. winter?
Cheers,
Sarah

Re: More information, pleaseHi Sarah, This week I am working on these articles, editing and building them up one step at a time. The general area information is in this section
http://www.summitpost.org/toubkal-winter-climbing/782786
Does that help? can you suggest how the content should be better organised, because I do not have experience in submitting SP articles.
thanks

Re: More information, pleaseHi Andrew,
The template for common SP page types (such as mountains) provides a solid framework for a thorough page. The key categories most folks populate in some form include:
Overview
Getting There
Red Tape
Camping / Lodging
Weather / Climate / Conditions
Some people like to include a section for:
External links (such as trip reports hosted on other websites)
History / nomenclature
Flora & fauna
Also, as we all know SP submissions can take some time to build, here are two common methods many frequent submitters use to ensure their pages are ready for prime time when published.
1. Offline development
Develop the content of your page, even the detailed HTML, in an offline format (such as Notepad or even a web design tool).
2. Online development as a custom object
Many contributors build their mountains / routes / areas / etc. as "Custom Objects" before changing them to their actual desired object type. This way, they don't have a mostly empty mountain page in the "What's new" section.
Let me know if you have further questions!
