Alpine Buttercup

An alpine buttercup on the tundra near the summit of Buffalo Fork Peak. It was a sunny day, and thus the strong light was washing out the colors of the flowers, but this one was tucked under some rocks and nicely shaded. Absaroka Range, WY-- July 2007
