What a beauty!!

My guess is Pulsatilla alpina, the alpine anemone.

You certainly know your flowers! I'm afraid I don't, I just take pictures of those that I like, simply for the beauty of it.

I looked it up, and if it's not P. Alpina, it's a very good doppelgänger indeed!
