Seen these plentyThe left side denotes on-coming traffic, soldier must slow down his "ride." Right side is clear shot speed with no on-coming traffic. Soldier may put the pedal to the metal. Still 70kph is a creeping 40mph, enough to tear up a road with trax though. }:)

That's what we thought but weren't sure. Never seen sign like that in Poland, Czech Rep or Austria (it doesn't mean that they don't exist:))
Another question: what tanks may do on this narrow mountain road?:)

Re: Seen these plentyMilitary vehicles use general population roads to access training areas...yes, it is horribly true; and believe me, the US Gubment pays PLENTY for manuever damage in Europe! Of course we don't give a shit what we mess up in Iraq. :)
