Great mountain for winter  Sucess!

We rode the Jeep up as far as the snow would allow then parked on Spring Gulch road. The dogs LOVED dolphin diving in often more than 2 feet of snow. The little cabin is fun to explore, and this is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL little summit! In winter / snow season, this little peak will make you work for it! With Mikey, Logan, Gabby & Jackson.

From Spring Gulch Road  Sucess!

A quick morning hike with Peakbug. The mining ruins and cabins were interesting. It was an enjoyable outing that got us down in time to beat the rush for breakfast in Idaho Springs.

#43 Alps Mountain  Sucess!

Parked on the road and hiked up about three quarters of a mile to the junction with Larmatine Road. Took the steeper, rocky narrow road to the left and found the cabins. Hiked through the woods to the summit, about a mile from the junction. Decent views of Evans. Quick morning outing with rkymtn.

Racing storms  Sucess!

Ran up Alps with my 6 year old son to beat the weather. It never really got bad.
