Re: Wheeler PeakI'm afraid I must take serious issue with your Latir Peak allegation. I have laid out all my maps in a large mosiac and stretched a tight line from West Spanish Peak to Latir Peak and found you MUST go right OVER the top of Culebra Peak between those two. Besides, I have been on Wheeler a few times and have seen the view looking to the Spanish Peaks (pics too).
I do have a question about Little Costilla: is it the 12,931 peak on the WEST side of Costilla Res or is it the 12,584 peak which is on the Taos/Colfax Co. line?

Re: Wheeler PeakI just posted a fairly good shot of the range including all the peaks discussed here. If you look at the one showing the forest fires, you can draw lines to make the connections.

Re: Wheeler PeakYeah, I'm not sure what happened there.....was there a problem with the site? I thought it may have been due to the pretty massive size of the file and perhaps it overloaded or some such thing.
