Alternate Starting Point

An alternate approach for this traverse to add more scrambling and difficulty. My approximate line in red from Brainerd Lake. Start at the notch in the ridge that runs north-south at the eastern most side on Middle Palisade Glacier to gain the ridge. The start is easy but quickly followed by some very exposed 4th class. The crux is a notch about half-way to the Palisade ridge (my guesstimate would be ~5.4, very exposed and loose). The rest of the ridge turns to 3rd class after this and then joins the Palisade ridge proper.
